Privacy Policy

Overview

This policy describes how Connect: Word Group Puzzle (package com.appstation.connect), the iOS application published on the App Store, handles your information. It is published by the makers of Connect.Game ("we", "our", or "us").

This policy covers the mobile app only. The website at connect.game is covered by its own privacy policy, which differs because a website and an app behave differently.

Data we collect

We collect nothing. The app has no server of its own, no user accounts, and sends no data about you anywhere.

Specifically, the app does not collect or transmit:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or any contact details
• Your precise or approximate location
• Your device's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), or any other advertising or tracking identifier
• Contacts, photos, files, calendar, microphone, or camera data
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or diagnostic telemetry
• Any information that could be used to identify you personally

Because we collect nothing, we have nothing to share, sell, or disclose to anyone, including advertisers, data brokers, or law enforcement.

Data stored on your device

The app saves your game progress locally so it is still there when you come back. This information stays on your device, is not backed up to our servers, and is never transmitted to us or anyone else.

What is stored:

• Statistics — games played, win percentage, current and maximum streak, and mistake distribution, kept separately for each mode and board size
• Daily puzzle results — whether you completed a given day's puzzle and how you did
• Game in progress — the board state of an unfinished puzzle, so you can resume
• Interface preferences — for example, whether an introductory tip has already been shown

None of this is personal information, and none of it identifies you. You can erase all of it at any time — see Your rights.

No tracking or advertising

The app contains no advertising, no third-party advertising SDKs, and no tracking technology of any kind. It does not build a profile of you, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not use your device's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).

Because the app does not track you, it does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt. Under Apple's definition, no tracking occurs.

There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. The app is free and complete as installed.

Permissions

The app requests no sensitive permissions. It does not ask for location, contacts, camera, microphone, storage, or notifications.

If you choose to share your result, the app hands the text to your device's standard share sheet. You pick the destination, and we receive nothing back. Sharing is entirely optional and never happens automatically.

Third parties

The app bundles its puzzles, fonts, and code, so ordinary gameplay makes no network requests at all and works with the device offline or in airplane mode.

We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting service.

Apple may collect information about your download and use of the app through the App Store, independently of us and under Apple's own privacy policy. We have no access to and no control over that data.

Children's privacy

The app is a word puzzle suitable for all ages and contains no advertising, no purchases, no chat, and no user-generated content. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13, and it collects nothing that would require verifiable parental consent under COPPA or comparable laws.

If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, the CCPA, or similar laws — including the rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data held about you.

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to provide or erase. Everything the app saves lives on your device and is entirely under your control.

You may still contact us with any request or question, and we will respond.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy — for instance, if a future version of the app adds a feature that changes how data is handled. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where the change is significant, note it in the app's release notes on the App Store. We encourage you to review this page from time to time.
